Jamie Fine, the Winner of the Summer 2002 Bead O'the Quarter

The electroformed web around this hollow bead was made in Kate Fowle-Meleney's week long class at Touchstone, where Kate was kind enough to bring along her equipment and show us the process. I immediately came home and purchased my own supplies and equipment and am now happily adding layers of copper detailing to some of my beads. The added dimension and material add a depth to the glass that I find intriguing. I'm looking forward to exploring other patinas for the copper.
