More great chances for world-class hot glass instruction!

We are working to finalize and firm up our plans with these two fabulous instructors (Larry Scott & Tink Martin) coming this fall. 

We need to make sure we have enough folks interested to sign the final paperwork with them.  See the descriptions below and let us know if you want to be a part of these great classes.  We need enough folks interested to make these classes happen!  So let us know if you want these classes ASAP!


Larry Scott
Larry Scott is coming September 23rd and 24th, 2006 to the Columbia Arts Center in Columbia, MD.  Larry's work is highly precise and he is an expert at dots and manipulation of the glass.  See his work at http://www.larryscott.net.

Larry's class will cost approximately $470 per student.  If interested in this class, please contact Clare Nykolyszyn at crowcandy@earthlink.net.

Tink Martin
Juliet Page has been working to bring Tink Martin to us later in the fall.  The dates for the Tink classes will be November 10, 11 & 12, 2006.  Tink has become known for her complex blown vessels and her hollow beads.  Her work may be seen at http://www.blackswampglassworks.com.  

Tink offers her classes as ala Carte' one day subjects.  The classes offered are described below and are mix and match with the cost at $215 per each one day class.  Note below that the classes have changed a little bit from what Juliet had previously sent out. Friday November 10th - Wound Hollow Beads and Tink's Tips and Tricks Saturday November 11th - Miniature Blown Vessels Sunday November 12th - Advanced Vessels

Michael Barley
Michael Barley has indicated an interest to come and teach for us. This class will probably be held in early 2007. Michael's website is here: http://www.barleybeads.com.
